Luca’s performed well in an eventful weekend. In the 1st race, he had a big incident on the last turn into the straight, hitting a back marker who had skidded in front of him after a reckless overtaking maneuver by the race leader. Luca was ejected from the kart at high speed but thankfully without any serious injury. After track side assistance from Brian Freemal and Doc Carlos Mercado, Luca was given the all clear.

Without any hesitation, he jumped right back into the kart, starting at the back of the grid, and fought into an excellent 2nd place finish in the main event to secure a well earned 2nd place finish in the Championship by 5 points.
