TESTING FOR 2018 SEASON

A new challenge with an adult ItalCorse chassis, Briggs LO206 engine.
After taking delivery of the adult ItalCorse chassis, Douglas Creesy prepped it with the LO206 build. Special thanks to Douglas Creesy of CZ Racing. Luca was eager to take the kart out for testing. We had put a program together to test in January at the LVKC endurance race event, before doing a couple of test sessions down at the California Speedway (Calspeed) in preparation for the 2018 Tri-C season opener in March.
We know Luca is fast so this year we are putting him in an adult chassis with a slower engine so that he learns the importance of keeping momentum. Luca will not be able to accelerate out of a mistake as these engines have no room for error. You lose momentum, the engine bogs down, you lose time and your race is done! This is where Luca masters his racing craft.
This year we will be racing LVKC but our main focus is to expand Luca’s experience by also running the LO206 championship at LAKC.
Exciting times ahead.
